Staff mobility refers exclusively to teaching , training and/or research activities. Staff mobility at the University of Sarajevo is open for both academic and administrative personnel from all over the world. Our university strongly promotes international mobility, focusing on the importance of a tolerant and democratic international environment for students’ successful learning, scientific and artistic research as well as their personal development.

If you are interested to come to the University of Sarajevo as academic/administrative staff member for teaching or training through mobility program such as Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility, or through Bilateral cooperation, it is necessary to follow next steps:

  Check if there’s a Bilateral or Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement* between your home university and the University of Sarajevo (your IRO office might know);

  Check the Academic Offer of the University of Sarajevo and contact our faculty coordinators for additional exchange inquiry;**

  Respect the deadlines for application and nomination;

  Collect application documents and send/bring it to the your home institution IRO;***

  Nomination must be made by your home institution International Relations Office (Erasmus+ coordinators);****

* – if you are applying for scholarship in this program, check the availability of scholarships for the University of Sarajevo, as well as if you are one of the approved cycle categories for mobility – academic and/or administrative, teaching and/or training – this applies for Erasmus+.

** – if you are applying through Erasmus+, check defined academic fields that are included in the agreement for this mobility.

*** – you home institution Erasmus+ coordinators usually publish the call and give deadlines for you to apply. Make sure to follow those rules in order to apply on time.

**** – the University of Sarajevo will only consider staff applicants who have been nominated by their home institution. If the bilateral agreement (Erasmus+) is signed between your home university and our member institution (faculty/academy/center/institute), university nominates staff directly to the contact person at the member institution of the University of Sarajevo.
